News of Our Partner Church in  Transylvania                           Updated 6/28/2011

This spring our minister visited Transylvania, and our Partner Church in particular, for Easter.  She  delivered  gifts to the newest member of our Partner Church, Bori, who is 9 months old.    (Info about and pics of Bori and her parents below.) She also delivered gifts to our Partner Church and its Minister.

This is Boroka, (Bori), the daughter of Anci & Zoltan, not long after her birth on July 11, 2010. She checked in at 54 cm, (21¼ in.) and 3.2 kg., (7.0 lbs.)  (Scroll down for more recent pics of Bori and her parents.)

The proud papa Zoltan is the only teacher for all of the children in the Nyomat.

To pursue an education beyond an elementary level, one must travel outside the 400 person village of Nyomat and pay money. Bori's mom Anci was one of the students we sponsored with our scholarships & the daughter of the president of the congregation.

Since the end of Communism very few children have been born in the village. It is a very special event!!

Here are pictures of Zoltan, Bori, and Anci taken in December of 2010.

Rev. Cain brought back this picture of Bori at Easter
