Music with a Message 3

We hope you were able to join UUCL on Saturday, May 9 for the third installment of our Music With a Message Series featuring the music of the Chung Yen Twins and an appearance by State Rep. Kelly Flood.

The Chung Yen Twins are J.D. Wright and David Cubine, a progressive acoustic guitar duo creating and performing a palette of rock, blues, and roots music. "What Jimi Hendrix would have sounded like before electricity." - Grover Mollineaux

Kelly Flood served as UUCL's senior minister from 1991 to 1998. She has been in the Kentucky House of Representatives since 2008 and, among other roles, serves on the Kentucky Access to Justice Commission.

The also event featured art from Ribbons Not Walls, helping shine a light on the need for immigration reform and justice for immigrants.
